The next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the sxi world powers will be held in Austrian capital Vienna next week, Iranian foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said Wednesday.
Both sides share the position that the solution to the nuclear issue of the Islamic republic should be found via negotiations, Afkham said, but she admitted that the progress in the talks so far has been "slow."
"Better understanding over the differences is emerging," Xinhua quoted her as saying in her weekly press briefing.
Last month, Iran and the P5+1 group - the US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany - held talks in New York to work out a final agreement aimed at ending the long-standing dispute over Tehran's nuclear programme.
