Iranian President Hassan Rouhani cancelled his visit to France following the terrorist attacks in Paris, the official IRNA news agency reported on Saturday.
"Due to the terrorist attacks in Paris, the travel of the president to three European countries of France, Italy and Vatican was postponed to another date," Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javed Zarif said.
At the invitation of French President Francois Hollande, Rouhani was to pay a state visit on November 17, making him the first Iranian leader to visit the country since 1999.
