An Israeli delegation Thursday arrived in Cairo to continue negotiations with Palestine on the Gaza truce.
Security sources said the delegation consists of three Israeli negotiators who arrived on board a private plane, MENA reported.
The negotiations are expected to reach a long-term truce agreement.
Egypt is mediating indirect discussions between Israel and Palestinian factions, including the Hamas movement, to reach a long-term ceasefire to end a bloody conflict following a 72-hour truce.
Egypt has urged both sides to extend the ceasefire in a bid to address issues more effectively.
The near month-long violence has killed around 1,900 Palestinians and 67 Israelis, including 64 soldiers.
