Israeli soldiers Tuesday shot dead a Palestinian man near the West Bank city of Bethlehem, a Palestinian official told Xinhua news agency.
An Israeli army force broke into Deheisha refugee camp in the south of Bethlehem amid intensive gunfire, the official said.
"Several soldiers went up to the roof of one building in the camp and opened fire, killing a 19-year-old young man who went out from his house to see what is going on," he said.
"He was killed in cold blood by careless Israeli soldiers," the official said, who described what happened as "another crime added to the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people".
The killing of the youth is the third such case since the beginning of this year.
Two other men were killed separately Jan 31 and Feb 14 near Bethlehem.
