Three of the Jewish suspects accused of killing a Palestinian teenager admitted their criminal actions, and were asked to reenact the murder scene, Israeli police announced Monday.

Three out of six arrested suspects, involving in the murder of Mohammad Abu Khdeir last week, were brought to reenact the crime scene where the charred body of the Palestinian teenager was found in a Jerusalem forest July 2. The other three are supposed to be complicit in the attack, Xinhua reported.

The murder of Khdeir is widely believed to be in revenge for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens, whose bodies were found near the Palestinian village of Halaul in the West Bank.

Israel blamed the Islamic resistance movement Hamas for being behind the incident, which has aroused protests by some right wing Israelis.

The six suspects are currently detained at a facility of the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet), awaiting their trials on mutiple charges of terrorism, kidnapping and murder.

Moreover, Israeli media reported Sunday evening that police believed the suspects attempted to kidnap another nine-year-old Arab boy from east Jerusalem a day before the murder of Abu Khdeir, but failed.
