ISRO to launch GSAT 6 on August 27

India will launch communication satellite GSat-6 on August 27, the space agency said.

The satellite will be launched with the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) heavier rocket geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle (GSLV).

According to ISRO, the GSLV rocket carrying the GSat-6 communication satellite weighing over 2,100 kg will blast off at 4.52 p.m. on August 27.
