Milan, Feb 28 (IANS/AKI) Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni on Tuesday visited an old folks club on the outskirts of the northern city of Milan, where he had lunch with 150 elderly, migrants and homeless people.
Gentiloni and Milan's centre-left Mayor Giuseppe Sala spent around half an hour eating and chatting with the guests at the 'Doorway to the Heart' club, who included many women.
The club in Milan's San Leonardo district on Milan's northwest outskirts is one of 29 social centres operated by the city council and several associations for the elderly and is used by around 1,000 senior citizens.
