A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir legislators called on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday and sought details about his government's initiatives in the fields of education and health, an official statement said.
The team of members from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Ethics Committee met Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat here, according to the Delhi government statement.
"The visiting MLAs asked the Chief Minister about the implementation of free medicines and diagnostic tests scheme in government hospitals," it said.
Led by Committee Chairman Abdul Rahim Rather, the delegation also visited Delhi government schools and met Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel.
"The visiting delegation expressed a keen interest in how the Delhi government is sustaining this public welfare measure and how it is coping with the rush at its hospitals."
