Jammu city witnessed the hottest day of the season so far on Thursday, with the mercury climbing to 43.2 degrees Celsius, weather officials said, and warned of more heat ahead.
"It was the hottest of the season so far in Jammu city today (Thursday) where the maximum temperature recorded was 43.2 degrees Celsius as against yesterday's (Wednesday) 42.8 degrees," a Met department official told IANS.
"We are expecting further rise in the day temperature in Jammu during the next two to three days," the official added.
