"The Big Bang Theory" actor Jim Parsons has unveiled a new wax statue of himself. The figure will be shipped to Orlando, Florida for its inauguration on May 4.
The 41-year-old's wax work was created at Madame Tussauds museum.
According to people.com, it took "more than 150 measurements of his face and head and another 100 measurements of his entire body."
It took six weeks for a group of artists and sculptors to create the figurine which head weighs 9.9 lbs (around 5 kg).
"Every detail on this figure is incredibly accurate and precise. From the colour of the eyes to the facial figures, you can tell how hard the artists and sculptors work to achieve such a realistic portrayal," Parsons proudly said of the wax work.
In an attempt to complete the look of the wax figure, Parsons even donated clothes that he had worn on the set of his TV show "The Big Bang Theory" and was joined for the unveiling by his co-star Simon Helberg.
