Seasoned rallyist Sunny Kumar exhibited great skill and control to annex the FMSCI-approved sub-Himalayan rally here.
Riding for JK Motorports, Sunny was ably assisted by navigator Dhiraj as they conquered the 31st edition of this popular event that is held annually.
Sunny and Dhiraj finished with the least penalty points, 58, to emerge victorious in the 475-km TSD rally that is run under the 2018 International Sporting Code of FIA.
A total of nine teams participated in the rally where the JK Motorsports duo recorded a total of 3:21 minutes penalty to finish ahead of the team comprising Manish Chaturvedi and Manish Vohra.
"It is one of the most prestigious rallies in northern India and we are delighted with our win here. The field was very competitive and we had to be very precise with our calculations all though the drive to come through," Sunny said, after being adjudged the winner.
The winners won a handsome prize purse of Rs 75,000 and a trophy.

The competitors cruised through the plains of Punjab and Haryana before entering the terrains of Himachal Pradesh.
The rally went through the mountains of Chail to Kukri before halting at Mashobra for the night. The next day, they drove back to Chandigarh from Mashobra via Solan.
