Actor Johnny Depp says he "hates" the idea of actors becoming musicians.
Depp has shown off his musical ability over the years, both on and away from the big screen, but the 51-year-old has no plans of ever swapping his acting talent for the music stage, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"The whole idea for me is a sickening thing. It's always just made me sick. I hate the idea, 'Come see me play the guitar because you've seen me in 12 movies'," The Sun newspaper quoted Depp as saying.
Depp has previously joined the likes of Oasis, Marilyn Manson, Keith Richards and Ryan Adams on stage to play guitar, but says he has no plans to forge a serious music career of his own.
"Music is still part of my life... but you won't be hearing 'The Johnny Depp Band'. That won't ever exist," he added.
The actor returned to the big screen earlier this month when he reunited with director Rob Marshall for musical "Into The Woods", which is based on the Broadway show by Stephen Sondheim.
