Former hockey Olympians and international players will be given complimentary tickets for the junior men's hockey World Cup to be held at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here Dec 6-15.
The former stars have to contact national selectors Ajit Pal Singh and R.P. Singh for the tickets.
Hockey India (HI) secretary general Narinder Batra said it would be a privilege to invite former players to witness the World Cup.
"Their presence will be a great motivation for the young Indian team who are ready for the challenge" said Batra.
The 10-day event will feature 16 international teams, playing 44 matches.
India will open its campaign against The Netherlands in Pool C (Dec 6) followed by matches against Canada (Dec 7) and Korea (Dec 10).
