The Judo Federation of India (JFI) on Saturday announced that it will open training centres in Guwahati and Aizawl in the next few days for providing best training facilities to the budding players at the club level.
The purpose of setting up the JFI Training Centres is to identify young talented judo players between 13- 21 years, and train them under qualified coaches with modern training facilities.
JFI has already opened 10 training centres in various cities of India like Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), Sonepat and Narnaul (Haryana), Jalandhar and Gurdaspur (Punjab), Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Imphal, Delhi and two in Kolkata.
While the Guwahati centre will be inaugurated on Sunday, Aizawl's centre will be opened on May 3.
