Paul Pogba scored a controversial goal as Juventus beat Torino 1-0 at the Turin derby Sunday, Xinhua reported.
The France international headed home a rebound from close range in the second half after Carlos Tevez had nodded Leonardo Bonucci's flick onto the bar, with replays suggesting that the Argentine striker was in an offside position.
Juventus dominated the hosts in a drab first half, with Claudio Marchisio coming closest on the stroke of half-time with a low drive.
And in the second half, they turned their possession into a decisive goal, thanks to Pogba's intervention.
In the 54th minute Bonucci headed a corner goalwards and Tevez somehow managed to head against the crossbar from two yards but the resultant rebound was headed home by Pogba. However, television replays suggested that Tevez may have been in an offside position.
Juventus head coach Antonio Conte hit back after Juventus won the Turin Derby with the offside goal.
"I was told Tevez was offside during the goal, but he also risked his ankle on (Ciro) Immobile's challenge before that," he said. "He suffered a serious cut to his ankle and who knows how it might've ended if Toro had gone down to 10 men. Immobile should've been sent off."
His Torino counterpart Giampiero Ventura admitted Torino "could've done more" in their defeat to Juventus.
"We were able to be aggressive against Juve last season, but this time round we have a different structure. We limited Juventus and they had very few opportunities, though we should've done better in possession," he said.
