A group of 24 unemployed youth from the border region of Jammu and Kashmir have met Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva, the army said Thursday.
The educational tour organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalions took the youth, hailing from remote villages along the Line of Control in Rajouri district, to Alva Wednesday.
"The aim of the tour (to Rajasthan) was to reach out to the youth and also encourage self employment in the region," an official statement said.
The tour members will also visit historical places in Jaipur.
