Actress Kate Bosworth says she struggled to cope with her stardom in her twenties, before turning to her close friend Helena Christensen for advice.
The 32-year-old actress, who shot to fame in the US TV series "Young Americans" in 2000 aged just 17, struggled to cope with the pressures of stardom as she grew up and was lucky to find solace in the model, who gave her valuable guidance, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I was quite armoured for a lot of years. I had been going through such a hard time (in my 20s). I felt like it was me and my experience was unique, when actually everyone goes through these challenges.
"'I just said to her, 'God, I am struggling... I'm feeling quite lost.' And she replied, 'You should have called me. I have been through that so many times.' And that was when the penny finally dropped. I don't think I'd be where I am without her," Bosworth told The Edit magazine while talking about the 46-year-old Christensen.
