Kent RO System Ltd, pioneers of reverse osmosis technology in India and the largest selling purifier brand, on Tuesday launched two high efficiency air purifier models.

The two new portable models -- the Kent Aura Air and the Kent Eternal Air Purifier -- are based on high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) technology.

"High prevalence of pollution in India has caused a rise in cases of new onset of asthma or a degree of breathlessness," Kent RO Systems Ltd chairman Mahesh Gupta said in a statement, adding both "aesthetically designed" purifiers will give permanent solutions to problem of air pollution in metros.

The Japanese HEPA filters in both the models can trap particles like PM 2.5 particulates, pollen, dust and odours like those from cigarette smoke and pets. The technology with in-built ioniser keeps the air fresh.

Kent Aura is pre-equipped with filter replacement indicators and is also enabled with one-touch child lock feature to ensure complete safety and avoid any chances of misuse.

It also uses dust sensors to monitor the air quality in rooms upto 270 square feet.
