Key Indian equity indices opened flat on Friday, in line with global cues.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the BSE Friday was trading higher by 32.26 points, or 0.13 points, during the morning session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 13.05 points, or 0.17 percent, higher at 7,499.20 points.
The Sensex had opened at 24,620.39 points, against the previous day's close at 24,623.34 points, and was ruling at 24,655.60 points soon after.
It touched a high of 24,675.77 points and a low of 24,595.39 points in the trade so far.
