Scheduled to be inaugurated by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the Kolkata Christmas Festival beginning Dec 20 here is set to usher in the festive spirit with food, fun and carols.
The three-day carnival would roll across Park Street, stretching 2.2 km from Free School Street to Camac Street crossing.
Decorated with lights, the entire area would resound with choirs and various live acts by city-based bands, said Michael Shane Calvert, the Anglo-Indian nominated representative in the state legislative assembly.
A variety of snacks would be available from 25 food kiosks as part of the festivities organised by Apeejay Group and the state tourism department.
