Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has rejoined the team's group training on Friday after he recovered from a bout of flu.
The Germany international is now ready to play Sunday's game against Rayo Vallecano in week 16 of La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu, reports Efe.
Spanish coach Rafael Benitez on Friday led the workouts and included several young elements from Real Madrid's reserve football side, such as Marcos Llorente and Jose Carlos Lazo.
The intense training began with a warm-up, followed by a series of ball passes and press techniques.
After the training session, players of both Real Madrid football and basketball teams gathered to have Christmas lunch, which is a tradition at the capital side.
Currently Real Madrid hold third position in La Liga table, with 30 points, five points away from joint leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
