L&T is betting big on India's recovery in the next two years, a top company official said on Thursday.
"In the next two years, we do bet on India's recovery as compared to last two years from implementation and project announcements point of view," L&T's Chief Financial Officer R. Shankar Raman told BTVi in an interview.
Raman said as a company engaging in large projects, L&T sees a pipeline of opportunities across various states.
He said the mix of large and mid-size orders going in tandem was good for the company and also for the economy, as large orders engage the large companies while smaller size orders could keep cash flow going for smaller contractors.
"It is important that cash flow cycle improves for the liquidity to get better deployed. I do see the mix will continue for some time," he said.
With regard to quality of project execution in infrastructure, he said there is lack of strong filters for pre-qualification.
