"Leave them alone and they will leave you alone", says an advisory issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Monday to deal with monkey menace in its complex.
The Parliament Security Service of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, in its circular, has suggested that people not stop in case a monkey collides with their vehicle.
"In case a monkey collides with your vehicle (two-wheelers especially), do not stop there," reads the circular.
It has also suggested avoiding crossing "path between a mother and her infant", making "direct eye contact with monkeys", running from the animal and hitting or feeding them.
"Do not ever hit any monkey, keep hitting the ground with a big stick to make monkey leave your house or garden."
Yet another advise is to ignore the animal and to make a loud noise to force the monkey to leave the premises.
