Leganes on Sunday rallied from one goal down to prevail 3-1 over Villarreal, ending its losing streak in La Liga in four football matches.
Villarreal took the lead one hour into the match, thanks to a goal from Daniel Raba, but Diego Rico drew level for Leganes in the 72nd minute, reports Efe.
With nine minutes to go before the stoppage time, Nabil El Zhar doubled the score for Leganes.
Gabriel Appelt Pires secured Leganes' home win with a last-gasp goal.
Leganes earned their first league win in five matches after losing in the previous rounds to Sevilla, Valencia, Barcelona and Celta Vigo.
With the win, Leganes holds the seventh spot in the La Liga table (20 points) for now, one point and one position behind Villarreal.
