Lenovo India on Wednesday announced that it has supplied 6,000 units of ThinkPad Yoga 460 convertible laptop to Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar to empower students.
The convertible laptops will help students prepare for classroom sessions and online tests in an efficient way.
"ThinkPad has been the world's best enterprise laptop and is known for its robustness, toughness and reliability. For us, educational collaboration is a means to contribute towards the government's "Digital India" initiative," said Rohit Midha, Director, Commercial & Tablets Business, Lenovo India.
"With its light-weight carbon-fibre built, ThinkPad is tough enough for our students to carry around the campus. ThinkPad Yoga 460's touch-screen has helped us to drastically reduce paper usage in our classrooms," added D.N. Dwivedy, Management Representative, KIIT.
