Chinese smartphone maker Letv aims to be a leader in the Indian market with its range of economical devices, a top company official said here on Wednesday.
"After looking at the prospects and the Indian customers' choices, we are pretty sure that our devices would be able to match up to their expectations.
"Apart from quality, we are committed to providing them good phones at a comparatively cheaper prices," the official told IANS on the sidelines of the company's first Le Meetup here.

The participants in the meet were given a hands-on experience of the phones prior to their official launch in the market.
Letv also shared its outlook for India as a key market, which along with the US is part of its global expansion plan.

According to sources, the company may launch two flagship devices in the first week of January.
Asked who their immediate rivals were in the Indian market, a company official said: "We don't believe in rivalry, we are instead working on fulfilling the demands and needs of our customers."
