Recently-retired Li Na of China Sunday ruled out returning to the tennis circuit.

"I'm already 32. I have to take care of my family right now because over the last 32 years I was trying as hard as I can on the tennis court. I am not going to comeback to tennis," Li was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

Li, an official ambassador for the WTA World Tour Finals, made the remarks here along with the eight players who will be competing for the year-ending tournament Oct 17-26.

Talking about her post-retirement life, Li said she feels "pretty nice" about having no schedule, adding that the biggest surprise she had during the last month was the Golden Week, a seven-day holiday in celebration of the Chinese National Day.

"I stayed home for the National Day holiday. I don't have to work or see my schedule," the 2011 French Open champion said.

But Li's schedule here is packed with multiple activities. She will meet with fans at the WTA Fan Fest and also participants of the Under-14 and U-16 Future Stars event which features players from 12 countries and regions across Asia-Pacific.

Li, who won the 2014 Australian Open, will also be at the opening ceremony of the main tournament Monday.
