The national capital witnessed a light drizzle on Friday morning and the minimum temperature recorded was 29.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast light rainfall during the course of the day and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. Light rain would occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 89 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled four notches above the season's average at 37.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled slightly above the season's average at 27.0 degrees Celsius.
