Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Friday said the Lok Nayak hospital will soon be turned into a model one with upgraded medical facilities.
Jung was speaking after visiting the hospital and inspecting its medical and infrastructural facilities including the out-patient department which was made fully air-conditioned recently and the paediatric wing.
He also visited a special "kids play zone" which too was set up recently.
To ensure timely completion of projects that are currently underway, Jung met senior officials of the health, finance and public works department as well as officers of the Delhi Police and asked them to submit a deadline for each project.
Jung further appealed to the visitors to maintain cleanliness in the hospital.
