The opposition disrupted the Lok Sabha yet again on Monday over the Lalit Modi and the Vyapam issues even as Speaker Sumitra Mahajan tried to conduct the proceedings.
As soon as the house assembled for the day, members of opposition parties, specially the Congress, moved near the speaker's podium and started shouting slogans demanding a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the two issues.
The placard holding members were shouting slogans like "We want justice" and "PM jawab do (PM should reply)".
Mahajan asked the members not to show placards and tried to conduct the question hour.
However, the opposition members continued with their slogan shouting and in the din, the speaker adjourned the house till noon.
When the house reassembled at noon, called the zero hour but the opposition members continued with their slogan shouting.

Amid the din many members raised the terrorist attack in Gurdaspur in Punjab and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu assured them that the home ministry will make a statement in the matter.
Following this, members raised issues related to their constituency in the zero hour, but were mostly inaudible in the din.
The speaker then adjourned the house till 2 p.m.
