Having two Grammys and several hit singles to her name, singer Lorde has earned another ultimate honour -- a wax figure at Madame Tussauds here.
The wax museum in Hollywood unveiled the 18-year-old's wax work on Wednesday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Lorde was an enthusiastic participant" in the process, read a statement from the musuem.
Lorde's wax work was dressed in a midriff-baring Stella McCartney inspired suit, similar to the one she wore at the Golden Globe Awards in January. The music star herself couldn't hide her excitement and announced the release of her wax figure via Twitter.
"Omg guys... it's my pleasure to finally announce that @MadameTussauds made me into a WAX FIGURE!" she tweeted.
"It was an incredibly detailed process sitting for the waxwork, and the team at MT were so passionate and skilled!" she gushed in another tweet. "Here's an exclusive first look @Lordemusic's sitting with our studio artists. #Lorde #TussaudsLA," she added.
