Ad guru Piyush Pandey and musician Louiz Banks, who earlier came together to promote national integration and unity in diversity with the song "Mile sur mera tumhara", have teamed up again to compose an anthem dedicated to water conservation.
The anthem will lend support to IdeaHive Media Pvt. Ltd's "Paani Ka Teeka" project. It will feature musicians like Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, Kunal Ganjawala and Pankaj Udhas, among others.
While Pandey will be penning the lyrics, Banks will curate the music and bring together the music industry to join hands and send a message to the people of India to start saving water.
The anthem will parallelly see a release of a TV capsule on the "Making of The Anthem", followed by the "Paani Ka Teeka" fund raising concert, which will bring support to shortlisted projects across villages in India.
"I am happy to be part of this mega project. It's about time that as a nation, we unite and multiply this precious resource for mankind. It gives me utmost pleasure to come together along with my music industry friends and it's a great moment for me to work with Piyush yet again," Banks said in a statement.
