Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)'s Brazilian defender David Luiz has encouraged Chelsea striker Diego Costa to join the French capital football club next season.
"Diego is one of the clinical strikers in Europe and would be a welcome addition to any team," Efe quoted Luiz as saying on Tuesday.
"I think PSG have made their intent clear over the last three or four seasons -- that we only add the best players," added the Brazilian, who joined the French team in June 2014 from Chelsea for 50 million pounds sterling ($71 million).
Costa, 27, the top scorer of the Blues this year, has been linked in recent months with a return to Atletico Madrid, the club he left in 2014 for London.
"If Diego decides he has had enough of England and wants a new challenge he would be welcome here. Diego and myself have had our clashes," said Luiz.
"On the field he is physical and confrontational -- he will get in your face. That is part of his game.
"But off the field he is one of the nicest guys you can meet," acknowledged the Brazilian defender.
