Over two decades after she shot for the first time in picturesque hill station Munnar with Malayalam actor Mammootty for Tamil drama "Azhagan", southern actress Madhoo will revisit the place soon for a shoot.
She will be shooting there for upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bilingual "Vaayi Moodi Pesuvum", featuring Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan.
"Twenty years ago I shot with Mammootty sir in Munnar for 'Azhagan'. It was my first outdoor shooting experience at a hill station. Now, I'll be revisiting the same place, but this time with Mammootty's son Dulquer. It's such a coincidence and I'm really excited about it," Madhoo told IANS.
Madhoo is making a comeback to Tamil industry after a decade. In Malayalam cinema, she was last seen over two decades ago.
"I'm returning to Malayalam cinema after ages. I have only done four films so far in the language because I always found it challenging among all other south Indian languages.
"It's precisely why I have had someone dub for me for the Malayalam version of the film," said Madhoo, who will dub in her own voice for the Tamil version of the film.

The actress will essay a role closely associated with a character portrayed by Nazriya Nazim, the lead actress of the film, which is being directed by Balaji Mohan.
"It's not a mother's role, but I'm part of Nazriya's family. It's about relationship issues between us and I play an independent author. The film revolves around relationship issues within a family and how lack of communication or miscommunication can sabotage a relationship," she said.
Madhoo said she was never interested in doing the film; including her recent Telugu release "Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharavatha".
"I was never interested in doing these films but the people involved in it moved me with their persuasion. Even for this film, I initially said no but the producers and the director kept calling me trying to convince. I felt respected and I eventually gave in," she added.
Madhoo will join the crew of "Vaayi Moodi Pesuvum" from Nov 17 in Munnar. The Malayalam version is yet to be titled.
