Paris, Sep 18 (IANS/EFE) Nearly nine out of 10 French people do not want President Francois Hollande to win another term in office in the next elections set for 2017, according to a survey released by Paris-Match magazine
The survey, conducted Sep 11-15 and released Wednesday, shows that the current head of state occupies last place on a list led by former foreign minister Alain Juppe, whose candidacy is supported by 44 percent of those sampled.
The leader of France's far-right National Front party, Jean-Marie Le Pen, came second with 38 percent, ahead of Prime Minister Manuel Valls and former president Nicolas Sarkozy, each with a percentage of 36.
The poll indicated that only 45 percent of those surveyed believe that Hollande would run again in 2017, compared with 90 percent for Le Pen and 83 percent for Sarkozy.
