Four people robbed a company executive in Greater Noida of Rs.2.25 lakh in cash, a laptop, mobile phone and other articles in Greater Noida in a moving car, police said on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on Monday night on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway in an area under Gautam Budh Nagar.

According to police, Prashant Chaudhary, who works as an executive with India Bulls company in sector 62, Noida, after leaving the office at 7.30 p.m. took a bus to Sector 37 bus terminus where he took a Swift Dzire, presuming it to be a cab.

Chaudhary asked if the cab, with four people in it, was available to go to Pari Chowk and soon they proceeded towards expressway. After he attended a phone call, two people sitting on the rear seat snatched his mobile phone and tied his hands and legs in the moving car.

After beating him, they snatched his bag containing a laptop, mobile phone, some clothes and Rs.2 lakh in cash which he had brought from his father on Monday from Hastinapur.

They also forced him to reveal an ATM pin code to withdraw Rs.25,000 from his ICICI bank account. Later, they set him free in an isolated area. They warned him of dire consequences if he informed police and boasted they belonged to Anil Dujana gang, police said.
