Startups and small businesses can now manage customer requirements and sales on-the-go at affordable prices, courtesy a new software developed by an IIT-Kharagpur alumnus.
'Relaso' is a customer relationship management (CRM) software specially meant for mobile sales management and targets small and micro enterprises instead of medium to large businesses that traditional CRM software is designed for.
Co-founded by Angsuman Chakraborty, a 1995 graduate from the institute's department of civil engineering, the app-based service consolidates customer information and documents into a single database so business users can more easily access and manage it, said a statement from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur on Tuesday.
Given the difficulty in managing mobile (on-the-road) sales team, Relaso enables real-time visibility of challenges and issues and helps business owners do away with end-of-the-day meetings.
"Sales managers can track deal updates from their mobiles, monitor site check-ins, sales pipeline and revenue. In addition, there are several on-mobile live reports to constantly keep track of and optimize sales team performance and identify bottlenecks," the statement said.
Working even in areas with zero network connectivity, the basic version of the software is available to users for only $36 per month (about Rs.2,500).
