Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals on Friday reported an increase of 9.62 percent in its net profit for the fourth quarter of 2014-15 which stood at Rs.1,169.70 crore as compared to Rs.1,067.04 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
However, the company's total income during the quarter under review decreased from Rs.19,863.99 crore to Rs.11,474.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
For the full year ended March 31, 2015, the company reported a net loss of Rs.1,712.23 crore from a net profit of Rs.601.18 crore for the year ended March 31, 2014.
The total income also declined from Rs.72,134.95 crore to Rs.58,267.52 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015.
In terms of its consolidated results, the company reported a net loss for 2014-15 which stood at Rs.1,852.87 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs.606.11 crore for the year ended March 31, 2014.
