Indian and Pakistani prime ministers - Manmohan Singh and Nawaz Sharif - Sunday invited each other to visit their countries as they met here for their first bilateral talks in an effort to take forward stalled dialogue.
India's National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon, addressing reporters after the over hour-long talks, said that both Manmohan Singh and Nawaz Sharif had accepted the mutual invitations. "But no dates have been decided upon."
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly here.
