The Haryana government has appointed Manoj Yadava as Director General of Police (DGP), a state government spokesman said here on Monday.
Yadava, a 1988-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, was on deputation with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and working as Joint Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
The Haryana government had earlier this month named senior IPS officer K.P. Singh as acting DGP following the retirement of earlier DGP, B.S. Sandhu.
