Multiple people have been injured in a shooting in the Dutch town of Utrecht, police said on Monday.
The incident unfolded on or near a tram, CNN quoted Joost Lanshage, spokesman for the police in central Holland, as saying.
The police also confirmed on Twitter that the incident took place at the 24th of October Square, which has been closed off.
The shooting was reported at around 10.45 a.m. The police and emergency responders were attending the scene.
