American film music video director Marcus Raboy has directed Vir Das's Netflix special. The Indian comedian-actor finds Raboy extremely talented.
The comedian cracked a deal in 2016 with Netflix, a streaming media and video on demand online platform. The special titled "Abroad Understanding" has been directed by Raboy, who helmed another special last year for comedian Patton Oswalt.
Raboy has directed music videos for singers like Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Backstreet Boys and Rihanna.
Vir said in a statement: "Marcus is one heck of a talented man. The fact that he has worked with such legends is itself rewarding for me. The special has just come out and I am hoping people like what they see."
The show was shot in New Delhi in front of a live audience of 11000 people and in New York with a small crowd of 200 Americans.
