Maruti Suzuki announces association with Indian Aces in IPTL

Carmaker Maruti Suzuki announced its brand S-Cross' association with International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) franchise Micromax Indian Aces on Friday.

The Aces won the inaugural season of IPTL last year.

The association was announced by R.S. Kalsi, executive director, marketing & sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, in the presence of Mahesh Bhupathi, founder and managing director of IPTL, World No.1 women's doubles star Sania Mirza and Gulshan Jhurani, co-owner of Micromax Indian Aces at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association complex (DLTA).

"IPTL as a platform provides numerous opportunities for brands to communicate their brand values through right associations. We are happy that a premium product like S-Cross by Nexa finds its ideal match in Micromax Indian Aces, the winner of Coca-Cola IPTL Season 1. The teaming up of S-Cross by Nexa with Indian Aces speaks of immense potential and promising future Indian Aces possesses," Bhupathi said in a statement.

"We are delighted to partner with Team Indian Aces for this season of International Premier Tennis League (IPTL). This League is a huge step forward for tennis fans as it brings together current champions, tennis legends and upcoming talent in a format that's never been seen before," Kalsi said.
