China were on top of the medal standings of the 17th Asian Games after Day 9 with a total of 216 medals, including 105 golds. South Korea were in the second spot with 137 medals (42 golds) and Japan third with 126 medals (34 golds). India jumped to the 9th position with 35 medals (4 golds).
