Singer Miley Cyrus will star in Woody Allen's first ever television show, which is set in the 1960s.
According to deadline.com, Allen has also cast Elaine May in another role on the series, but details of the characters are being kept firmly under wraps.
Shooting is set to begin on the six-and-half-a-hour episodes in the next few weeks, with Woody writing and directing each one.
While Cyrus's career is going from strength to strength, her personal life is also flourishing after she recently reconciled with her former fiance Liam Hemsworth, who she split from in 2013.
