The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) on Monday said it won't contest next month's Assembly elections in Karnataka and instead support the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S).
"We want a non-Congress and non-BJP government in Karnataka for qualitative development," MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi told the media.
The Hyderabad MP said if necessary he would address public meetings in support of the JD-S headed by former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda.
