Five youths, including three juveniles, were arrested for allegedly murdering their minor friend who was in a relationship with the sister of one of the accused, said police here Saturday.
Hemant, 17, a resident of east Delhi's Mayur Vihar Phase I, had left his home with one of his juvenile friends Surender (name changed) June 6.
Surender told police that and his friends Ravi Nagar, Rohit and another juvenile Virender (name changed), lured Hemant with the pretext of filing a college form in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddha Nagar as they had just passed Class 12."They murdered Hemant in a forest in village Murshadpur in Gautam Buddha Nagar and dumped his body in a canal," said Ajay Kumar, deputy commissioner of police.
"At the instance of Virender, Nagar and Rohit were arrested on Friday," said Kumar.
