The national capital experienced a moderate Monday with the maximum temperature recorded at 21.6 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met office has forecast similar weather Tuesday.
Tuesday will start with shallow fog in the morning, but the sky will remain clear throughout the day.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 22 degrees and 8 degrees Celsius respectively.
There was fog Monday morning which cleared as the day progressed. The minimum temperature was 7 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
According to the statement released by the Northern Railways, one train was cancelled, 20 trains were rescheduled and 50 trains were running late due to the dense fog in many of the parts of northern India.
Flights operated normally without any delay or cancellation, said Indira Gandhi International airport spokesman Kapil Sabarwal.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 20.6 degrees Celsius - normal for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature was a notch below average at 6.3 degrees Celsius.
