Modi congratulates Brazilian president on re-election

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday congratulated Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff for being re-elected for a second term.

"Congratulations to @dilmabr (Dilma Rousseff) on her re-election as the president of Brazil! My best wishes to her for the 2nd term," Modi said in a tweet.

He added: "I look forward to continuing to work with @dilmabr to strengthen India-Brazil relations in the years to come."

Rousseff, 66, was re-elected for a second term Sunday.
