The BJP's big guns are set to boom in Tamil Nadu starting with its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's election rally here Sunday, said a senior party leader.
Other senior leaders of BJP like party president Rajnath Singh and L.K.Advani are also slated to campaign in Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to reporters here Saturday, BJP national general secretary P.Muralidhar Rao said the odi will address an election rally here Sunday.
Prior to that Modi is likely to meet Tamil movie star Rajnikant at his residence.
This will be the first visit that Modi is making to Tamil Nadu after his party formed a six party alliance in the state.
Two or three days later Modi will again come to Tamil Nadu and campaign in couple of constituencies.
The BJP alliance is contesting in 38 seats out of 39 in Tamil Nadu. While the nomination forms of candidates of alliance parties were accepted, the nomination of BJP's own candidate S.Gurumurthy was rejected by the poll officials for late submission.
